www.biz.org.nz is the whole-of-government business portal designed to make it easier to run your business. It acts as an online business advisor, providing a gateway to business resources.

The Foundation for Research, Science & Technology invests over $460 million a year in research, science and technology (RS&T) on behalf of the New Zealand Government to enhance the wealth and well-being of New Zealanders. Provides a range of grants of interest to business.

Education

Climate Change and Energy Efficiency


Rocky Mountain Institute doing some very interesting work on energy conservation.

Massey University and Professor Ralph Sims – leading research on alternative energy sources.

The Resource Management (Energy and Climate Change) Amendment Act 2004 introduced a new "other matter" into Part II of the RMA, requiring particular regard be given to the effects of climate change (section 7(i)).
